A Non-Clinical Intervention

Our work focuses on social-emotional development from an educational perspective . We do not diagnose or intervene from a clinical or therapeutic perspective. Instead, we design experiences that foster personal growth through play, interaction, and learning in a safe, structured, and fun environment.
Each session is designed to strengthen participants' autonomy, emotional regulation, and social skills. These activities allow children to apply and reinforce social-emotional strategies in real-life situations, facilitating effective transfer to their daily lives.

A Space for Growth

Our methodology focuses on creating meaningful and contextualized experiences that allow children to develop essential socio-emotional skills. Through collaborative storytelling and structured play, we foster skills such as:

  • Empathy and emotional understanding.

  • Regulation and expression of emotions.

  • Cognitive flexibility and conflict resolution.

  • Decision making and critical thinking.

  • Communication and cooperation skills.

Each activity is designed to fit the individual strengths and interests of participants, allowing for dynamic customization based on ongoing observation and dialogue with families and the professionals involved.

Our program not only provides a learning space, but also acts as a safe laboratory where children can experiment, make mistakes, and learn naturally, in a supportive and respectful environment.

Productive and Effective Communication

Our experience has shown us that when professionals from different fields work together, children not only progress more quickly, but also in a more solid and meaningful way. We want to be part of that journey and contribute our educational approach to the full development of each participant.

To this end, at La Tarasca, we recognize the importance of fluid and effective communication with the professionals who work with our participants. Our facilitators have extensive experience with these types of collaborations and are proficient at incorporating the perspectives of other professionals while sharing qualitative observations that help them inform and improve their clinical practice.

This collaborative approach not only enriches our work but also ensures that our educational interventions are aligned with the therapeutic strategies that other professionals may be implementing with the children participating in the program.

We also value the feedback we receive from specialists, as it allows us to adjust and personalize the program to more effectively meet the specific needs of each child. We believe this synergy between the different areas of intervention is key to comprehensive development.
